Introducing Mount Titano Español

For those of us who have studied foreign languages or lived abroad, we know that it is possible to quickly acquire the basic languages skills needed to get by, and that the ability to read profound works in that language—works even some locals would struggle to understand—is a different matter altogether.

That is why Mount Titano Media is proud to announce our new imprint, Mount Titano Español, and our first two releases: Las Palabras Que Crearon Estados Unidos (FINDING OUR WORDS: Words That Made America), translated by Patricio Domínguez Valdés, and Subiendo El Parnaso (Climbing Parnassus, by Tracy Lee Simmons, preface by William F. Buckley Jr.).

For too long, the greatest written and spoken words in American history have been ignored and forgotten even by American-born English speakers, so how much less would we expect the 50 million native Spanish speakers living in America to know the history of the country they live in.

Those 50 million Americans need to read the founding principles of their country and to know why they (and we who were born here as native English speakers) are blessed to have received that inheritance. And now they can.
