Mount Titano Media Honoring the Veterans Memorial and Support Foundation at the City of Los Gatos Summer Jazz on the Plaza Event
LOS GATOS, CA - August, 2025
Mount Titano Media was honored to partner with the Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation during the City of Los Gatos’ summer Jazz on the Plazz concert series.
This August, Allison Ellis joined Major General Kent Hillhouse, U.S. Army (Ret.), in giving away copies of Finding Our Words: Words That Made America to guests who donated to the foundation.
Others joined in, including Eric Drew of the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Foundation, and two sisters—one serving in the United States Coast Guard and the other at the United States Air Force Academy.
Clearly, it is easy to tear down what one does not appreciate nor understand—even if what is being destroyed is one's very home. Reading and knowing the great words that made America leads one to a better understanding of, and thus a desire to serve, our country.
In the words of Justice Oliver Wendall Holmes, spoken on Memorial Day, 1884:
"…it is now the moment when by common consent we pause to become conscious of our national life and to rejoice in it, to recall what our country has done for each of us, and to ask ourselves what we can do for our country in return."
Indeed. It is always the moment.
